First checks
- Open the washer and manually rearrange the laundry so it's spread evenly around the drum before restarting.
- For a single bulky item like a comforter, add one or two similarly sized items so the load balances itself, or wash it alone on a dedicated bulky-item cycle if your model has one.
- Close the door fully and press Start again. A Ur code on the display means the washer is already retrying, no action needed yet.
- If UE shows up on almost every load regardless of how it's arranged, check that all four feet are making solid contact with the floor.
What not to do
- Repeatedly restarting the same cycle without actually rearranging the laundry first. The code will keep returning until the load is physically balanced.
- Assuming leveling feet or a suspension part has failed after a single UE code. Samsung's own guide points to load balance first.
