LE (also shown as 1E, 1C, LC, or LC1) means the washer detected moisture somewhere it shouldn’t be, or the water-level sensor itself is reporting a problem. It doesn’t always mean there’s a visible leak.
Samsung’s own service literature works through this code in a specific order: rule out a physical leak first, then oversudsing, and only treat the sensor itself as suspect once both of those come back clean. Skipping straight to the sensor is the most common way people end up paying for a service call that a hose check or an empty rinse cycle would have avoided.
