Whirlpool Dishwasher Not Draining: Reset, Filter Location & Error Codes
On most Whirlpool dishwashers, the twist-out filter at the bottom of the tub is the first thing to check, well ahead of the pump. Here’s the reset, the exact filter location, and what F4 actually means.
Frigidaire Washer Error Code E2 (Won’t Drain / Long Drain)
E2 means the washer’s water is taking too long to drain, almost always a kinked or clogged drain hose.
Bosch Washer Error Code E18 (Drain Timeout)
E18 means Bosch’s washer couldn’t finish draining within its expected time, almost always a blocked pump or a kinked drain hose.
Samsung Washer Error Code 5C (No Drain)
5C means the washer isn’t draining. Samsung’s own fix is almost always the drain hose installation, rarely the pump.
Samsung Washer Error Code OE (Overflow)
OE means there’s too much water in the washer. Samsung treats it the same as a drain fault: check the hose and level first.
LG Washer Error Code OE (Drain Error)
OE means the washer isn’t draining in time. LG’s own fix starts with the drain hose and filter, not the pump.
