Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DiagnosFix (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit diagnosfix.com (the “Site”).

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type into it. Those are stored in the site database and notified to us by email. If you write to us directly, we likewise receive your address and the content of your message. In both cases we use them only to handle your enquiry and reply to you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect certain data automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URLs, and approximate location (city/country level). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising.

Google AdSense. We display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, general geography). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Consent. Where required by law (including the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, via the cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

3. Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to parts retailers. If you click one, the retailer may set cookies to attribute a potential purchase to us. Their processing of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to operate and improve the Site, measure audience, display advertising, respond to messages, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: consent (advertising and analytics cookies), legitimate interests (site security, basic audience measurement, responding to inquiries), and legal obligation where applicable.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (use the cookie settings link). To exercise any right, use our contact form and pick the topic “Privacy or a data request”, or email contact at diagnosfix dot com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data retention and security

Messages received through the contact form — held in the site database — and contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. We use reasonable technical measures (HTTPS, access controls, security plugins) to protect the Site.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. International transfers

Our service providers (including Google) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
